Description
This is a two-storey and attic, three-window house built around 1850 for Captain Thomson, a clipper master. The walls are harl-pointed with margins, and the dressings are granite. A notable feature is the entrance, with plain ashlar panels set within a wide architrave frame. The house has canted dormers, and retains its original window glazing. In 1984, the building was completely harled.
