Description

The Dovecot at Lessendrum likely dates from the 18th or early 19th century. It is circular in shape and constructed from split boulder rubble with pinnings. The structure features two rat-courses, with the lower one forming a gablet above the doorway. There are no traces of the nesting boxes, which were presumably made of wood. The conical slated roof collapsed in 1985.
