Description

Lessendrum House is a ruin designed by Archibald Simpson in 1837, which incorporates a large earlier house dating from the 17th century and later. The building features an asymmetrical Jacobean style and is mainly two-storey, likely originally with attics. It has large pinnacles at the southwest part and diagonal shafted chimneys. The site is much overgrown, with large sections having fallen, contributing to its picturesque appearance.
