Description
Drumblade Parish Church was built in 1773, retaining a bellcote from 1641, and underwent renovation in 1829. The church features a plain harled rectangular structure with five windows on the south side that are checked for shutters. It has a small west porch with a piend roof and a bellcote adorned with panelled pilasters and five pinnacles. Inside, there is a small west gallery and original features such as the pulpit and gallery front have been retained. The church also displays mural tablets commemorating Maurice George Bisset of Lessendrum, who passed away in 1821, and William Bisset, Lord Bishop of Raphoe, who died in 1834, both featuring a cushion and mitre. The windows were reglazed in 1900.
