Description
This is an early 19th-century pair of single-storey and attic cottages built of rubble with harl pointing. The larger cottage, number 60, is three bays wide and features a timber door in the centre. The adjacent cottage, number 58, is two bays wide with a timber door and a timber-framed bow window with 20 panes of glass. Gable end chimney stacks are present, along with one ridge stack. Three dormers were added later and provide access to the attics. The roof is covered in grey slate. The statutory address was revised in 2018 and the property was previously listed under a different address. Ordnance Survey maps from 1866 and 1899 show the cottages in the village of Kincardine O’Neil.
