60 North Deeside Road, Kincardine O'Neil

This is an early 19th century pair of single storey and attic cottages, located at 58 and 60 North Deeside Road in Kincardine O'Neil. The cottages are built of rubble with a rough harl finish. Number 60, the larger of the two, has three bays and a timber door in the centre. Number 58 has two bays, featuring a timber door and a timber-framed bow window with a 20-pane glazing pattern. Both cottages have gable end chimney stacks and one ridge stack. The roof is covered in grey slate. Three dormers are later additions to provide attic access. The cottages were originally listed under a different address, '62 North Deeside Rd (Formerly 3 North Turnpike) Kincardine O'Neil'. Ordnance Survey maps from 1866 and 1899 show the properties' location and layout.
