Description
54 Aird Street is a mid 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that is attached to and projects at right angles from the east elevation of a Roman Catholic church. The exterior is harled with tooled ashlar around the windows and at the corners. The central entrance is concealed by a later gabled harled porch, which features a panelled door and a letterbox fanlight. The windows are timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing. The house has coped and panelled end stacks and a slate roof. A flat coped rubble wall surrounds the garden and the church.
