Description

Late 19th century. Walled garden. Almost square in perimeter, approx 15 x 15m, compartmented with E-W dividing wall. Ashlar coped rubble whinstone, approx 3m high. Lean-to rubble potting sheds to outer side of N wall, lean-to greenhouses to innerside. Round-arched gateway to centre of dividing wall in ashlar panel; Turriff sandstone ashlar with moulded surround, keystone flanking pilasters and cornice. Cast and wrought-iron gates to S.
