Christ Church, North Deeside Road, Kincardine O'Neil

Christ Church is an 1866 building, likely designed by Ramage (though the architect is not confirmed in surviving contracts from the Aberdeen Journal dated September 13th, 1865). The church is built of snecked rubble and is in a Gothic style. It consists of a nave and a narrower chancel, with a three-light east window featuring plate tracery. There are lucarnes and a ventilator on the roof. The church opened on August 22nd, 1866, and no minutes concerning the church exist prior to 1894. Within the churchyard stands an old table sundial, erected as a memorial. The listing describes the group value of the building and applies to both its interior and exterior. In 2006, it was re-categorised from B to C(S) to reflect this group interest.
