Description

All Saints' Episcopal Church in Strichen features a pair of 18th century cottages that were originally built as a schoolhouse. These two cottages have a harled exterior with a granite ashlar front and are designed with two windows and a central door. They were linked together by Messrs. Nicol and Gordon when the school was founded in 1840. A wooden tripartite doorpiece with a gablet and bell was added between the cottages, likely in 1872 when the building became the Episcopal School.
