Description
The Anderson and Woodman Library, located at 59A Water Street in Strichen, is a late 18th-century building that was originally a threadmill. It is a three-storey structure with six windows, constructed from squared granite. The building features low second-storey windows, and the first and second floors have been combined internally. It has skewputts and coped chimneys. The building was converted into a house during the Victorian era and was transformed into an institute in 1923.
