Description
Holmwood, located at 103 High Street in Strichen, is a building dating from around 1800 to 1802. The central block is two stories high with an attic and features a three-window granite ashlar front. It has an architraved doorpiece that is enclosed within a later glass porch. The building includes skewputts, two later canted dormers, and coped chimneys. There are two set-back wings with piend roofs; the southeast wing has a later glass addition, while the northwest wing, which contains a harness room with coachman's quarters above, is a single storey and attic structure that is harled with margins and has a single later canted dormer.
