Description
Southfield House, located on Station Road in Auchtermuchty, dates from around 1800. This building is two stories high with an attic and basement, featuring three windows. It has a harled exterior with quoin ends and margins. The entrance includes an architraved doorpiece with a cornice, accompanied by railed steps and narrow sidelights. The house has two late canted dormers on the roof, which are slated and have been significantly altered and extended. There is also a single-storey north wing that has quoin ends and a tall chimney with a moulded top.
