Description

The Breakwater at Sandend Harbour is likely from the mid-19th century, although it includes earlier construction. The small harbour is surrounded by two curved rubble walls, which have been faced with concrete in later years. There is a high wall on the seaward side of the outer pier. Additionally, a short rubble breakwater extends from a rocky outcrop to the east, providing protection for the harbour entrance.
