Description
31 Market Square in Stonehaven is an early 19th century, altered, two-storey and attic, two-bay terraced shop with a dwelling above. The exterior is stuccoed and lined out to resemble ashlar.
On the south elevation, there is a modern shop to the left and a modern door to the right at ground level, beneath a full-width fascia. The first floor features two windows, and there is a piended dormer to the left with a small rooflight to the right.
The building has non-traditional late 20th century glazing and is topped with grey slates. It also has tall coped ashlar and brick stacks with thackstanes and polygonal cans.
