321-323 High Street, Kirkcaldy

321-323 High Street in Kirkcaldy is an early 19th century terraced shop with a dwelling above, featuring three storeys and an attic. The building is constructed of polished ashlar, which is painted at the ground level. It has a cill course on the first floor, a deep eaves cornice, and a blocking course.

The south elevation facing High Street includes a deep-set pend door with a plate glass fanlight to the outer left at ground level. To the right, there is a shop with a glazed in-canted door at the center and display windows flanking it, along with a fascia board above. The first and second floors have regular fenestration, with the windows on the second floor being slightly smaller. Above, there are two piended and slated dormer windows.

The building features a 12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows, except for the shop windows. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are cavetto coped ashlar stacks with cans and ashlar coped skews.
