Description

New Harbour, located on Shore Street in Portsoy, was built between 1825 and 1828 and underwent repairs and restoration in 1884. The structure is made of rubble and concrete, with a concrete sea wall that has been raised on the northern (seaward) face. The harbour features a rectangular basin with an entry point on the southern side. The wide western arm of the harbour extends slightly into the bay, providing shelter for the harbour entry.
