Description
This is a two-storey, three-bay tenement dating to around 1800. It is built of squared rubble with polished ashlar dressings, and the sides and rear are harled. A forestair leads to a door at both the ground and first floors, with the first-floor door breaking the eaves and a swept roof over it. The ground floor has four-pane sash and case windows, while the first floor has modern two-pane windows. The roof is slated, with straight skews and moulded skewputts. The building is shown on the first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1868. The statutory address was changed in 2013 from 'Johnshaven, 21 Waughton Place, Kelowna' to its current address of 21 Mid Street, Johnshaven.
