14 Carron Terrace, Stonehaven

14 Carron Terrace in Stonehaven is an earlier 19th-century end terrace cottage that is a well-preserved example of traditional architecture. This single-storey and attic building features three bays and is notable for its elegant bowed slate-hung dormers. The exterior is harled with painted margins and rusticated quoins.

The entrance elevation is symmetrical, featuring a panelled timber door with a two-part fanlight at the center. There are windows in the flanking bays and dormer windows above the outer bays, alongside a small cast-iron rooflight at the center.

The northeast elevation is a plain gabled design. The cottage has replacement timber sash and case windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern. It is topped with grey slates and has coped harled stacks, some of which are polygonal, along with ashlar-coped skews.

The boundary walls consist of low flat-coped rubble walls with simple stone piers and a rustic fence.
