Description

Earlier 19th century. Unusually intact survival of well-detailed single storey and attic, 3-bay, traditional end terrace cottage with fine bowed slate-hung dormers. Harled with painted margins and rusticated quoins.

SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Panelled timber door with 2-part fanlight to centre, windows in flanking bays and dormer windows over outer bays flanking small cast-iron rooflight at centre.

NE ELEVATION: plain gabled elevation.

12-pane glazing pattern in replacement timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped harled stacks with thackstanes and cans, some polygonal; ashlar-coped skews.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low flat-coped rubble walls with simple stone piers and rustic fence.
