Description
The Fountain, located in The Square, Huntly, dates back to 1882. It is a substantial square drinking fountain made of bullfaced granite. Each side features a semi-circular polished granite trough, supported by four polished granite colonnettes that enclose key-stone arches. The fountain is topped with a corniced frieze that includes pinnacles, escutcheons, and a moulded overthrow.
