Description
Greengate Lodge, located at Delgatie Castle, was designed by A & W Reid in 1854. It features banded gatepiers topped with urns and is a large, asymmetrical structure comprising a single storey and an attic. The lodge includes masonry dormers, V-shaped and canted bays, and diagonal chimney shafts. A slim, three-storey entrance tower rises above, showcasing circular windows at the top stage and a tall roof. The design incorporates Scots Renaissance details and crowstepped elements.
