Description

169 King Street in Aberdeen is a mid to late 19th-century building consisting of a run of four, two-storey and attic townhouses, with a shop located at the ground level of Nos 163-167. The building is constructed from grey granite ashlar, with rubble at the rear. It features a string course and a blocking course, along with piended dormers. There is an elliptical arched opening leading to a pend at the far left of No 61. The shop front has a recessed entrance door, flanked by plate glass windows supported by narrow timber columns and topped with a consoled timber fascia.

The building displays a variety of window styles, including some four and twelve-pane timber sash and case windows, as well as some non-traditional windows. The roof above Nos 163-167 is a mansard style.
