Description
143 and 145 King Street in Aberdeen is a mid-19th century, two-storey and attic, three-bay Classical building that serves both commercial and domestic purposes. It is constructed of grey granite ashlar. The ground floor features round-arched openings, with timber panelled entrance doors flanked by narrow pilastered jambs and topped with fanlights. The building has a flat-roofed dormer.
On the first storey, there are 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the ground floor includes plate glass windows, some of which have fanlight glazing above. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are tall coped gable stacks that rise to meet the adjoining buildings.
