Description
12 Exchange Street in Aberdeen is a later 19th century, four-storey and attic, three-bay classical tenement building. It features a gabled rear elevation facing Stirling Street. The exterior is constructed from grey granite ashlar with finely tooled dressings. Notable architectural details include consoled cornices above the entrance on the right and the first-storey windows, as well as band courses and a cornice with a blocking course. The top storey has segmental arched windows with aprons, and there are timber pedimented dormers. The upper floors predominantly have timber sash and case windows. The interior was not seen during the survey in 2006.
