Description
23 Exchange Street in Aberdeen is a classical corner building dating from around 1845. It is two stories tall and features five bays on one side and four bays on the other. The building is constructed from grey granite ashlar, with rubble at the rear. It has a base course, a moulded string course, a deep cornice, and a parapet. The ground floor has deep-set round arched openings with aprons below. There are two wallhead stacks on the south side, linked by a screen with a blind-arched panel.
The windows are predominantly bipartite timber sash and case, featuring timber mullions. The interior was not seen in 2006 but is believed to have been converted into flats.
