Former house next to 1 Mill Road, Kilcoo village, Fofannyreagh, Castlewellan, Co Down, BT34 5UZ

A long, single-storey, gabled vernacular dwelling, likely built before 1834, is now used as outbuildings. The property is situated on the south side of the Dublin Road in the village of Kilcoo, approximately four miles southwest of Castlewellan. The asymmetrical front façade, facing north, features a timber-sheeted door slightly to the right of centre. To the left of the door are two boarded windows, with a further boarded window to the right. The east gable is blank, while the west gable incorporates a long, single-storey, gabled outbuilding in two sections, containing a small window opening, a large vehicle entrance, and three doorways. The rear façade is also blank. The front façade and east gable are harled and whitewashed, whereas the rear and west gable are unpainted. The roof of the former house section is covered in corrugated iron, while the rest is in natural slate. A single rendered chimney stack is located on the west side of the "house" section.

A building is depicted on Ordnance Survey maps from both 1834 and 1859 at this location. A John Fitzpatrick was recorded as the occupant in the 1863 valuation records, with the property valued at £1-10-0. The house was abandoned in the 1940s, coinciding with the construction of the neighbouring dwelling, and is now utilized as a shed.
