Description

Left of a pair of three-storey/ two-bay late Georgian dwellings set in terrace on west side of street. Pitched artificial slate roof with smooth rendered chimney to left gable and half round metal rainwater goods. Walls are rendered with lined cement, with a painted base course. The main façade faces E. Street entrance at right side comprises painted timber door with oval stained glass panel (installed c.1958), over which is a stained glass fanlight, all set within an ashlar granite semi-elliptical arch with projecting keystone. Timbered four-paned side lights with granite cills on either side. Cast iron boot scraper recessed into wall to left of door. All windows are painted timber 2/2 sliding sash with exposed boxes and horns. Single window to left of front door, and two windows on each of the floors above. Right gable is abutted by No 29 (HB16/29/002A). Portion of left gable which projects above abutting building is slate hung. Rear elevation rendered and still with some sliding sash windows. Flat-roofed bathroom extension to half landing level at left and refurbished two storey return to right. Both returns have modern windows.
