Description

Right building of a pair of three storey houses arranged symmetrically on either side of a shared coach arch (to left), on west side of street. The street-facing rooms above the arch belong to this property. Pitched artificial slate roof with plastic rainwater goods, and brick chimney on party wall with central arch. Façade walls are rendered with lined cement with a raised and stepped decorative quoin at right. Entrance at right has a transom light above a four-panelled door with rendered pilaster surround and lozenge panelled entablature above. Single window to left of door and two on first floor and second floor (the latter smaller); all have granite cills. The ground and first floor windows are 2/2 sliding sash (with horns), that at second floor is 1/1 top-hung. Shallow segmental coach arch with rendered brick quoins and voussoir at left. The rear elevation has a single storey lean-to return into the yard. Walls cement rendered. Door to ground floor at left of arch. At first floor are two 2/2 sliding sashes, one above coach arch, the other to its left. Second floor windows as first floor except left one is modern top hung replacement.
