Description

Working cast iron late Victorian water pump, set in The Square in the centre of the small village of Clough. The pump consists of a central fluted pillar with spout and domed cap with mushroom-like finial. The pump is operated by two large ‘wheels’ with a handle to that to the N side. The area around the pump is landscaped with granite paving immediately around the pump and brick paving around this.
