The buildings are vernacular in style, with pitched roofs and whitewashed random rubble walls, all well-maintained. The dwellings are aligned roughly east-west; number 26 is to the east and number 28 to the west. Number 28 has a natural slate roof with two brick chimneys, one to the left gable and one between the bays. A windbreak porch with a monopitched natural slate roof and a vertically jointed (t+g) sheeted door faces south. The porch cheeks are blank. Each bay has a two-over-two sliding sash window with a whitewashed granite cill. The left gable and rear elevation are blank. The right gable abuts a small dog kennel. Outbuildings to the north and south have corrugated metal roofs and vertically jointed (t+g) sheeted openings. These are in good condition but are noted for their setting and group value rather than their individual architectural merit.

A building is depicted at this location on the 1835 Ordnance Survey six-inch map and subsequent editions. The precise date of erection is not known, but it is likely to be from the early 19th century, probably within the period 1820 to 1839. The property has been used as a house and remains in residential use, in private ownership.
