Description

A single-storey two-bay vernacular dwelling aligned NW-SE on a lane to the W of Carrickastickan Road. Pitched thatched roof – still intact but now with corrugated metal over. Two brick chimneys - one to central party wall and one to right gable (now collapsed). There are no rainwater goods. Walls are lime rendered rubble stone. Principal elevation faces SW. Left bay has an exposed box 2/2 sliding sash window with horns, tiled cill and (machined) brick surround. Right bay has a windbreak porch set to left and a window opening to right without cill. Porch has a flat cement roof with a door opening to front face; right and left cheeks are blank. Left gable is blank but has ghost marks of a lower and shallower outbuilding. Rear elevation and right gable are blank. There is a ruinous outbuilding across yard to S.
