Description

This is an early-nineteenth century two-storey corner shop, now operating as a bank, situated at the corner of Ballynahinch Street and Lisburn Street in Hillsborough town centre. The building was surveyed during the First Survey but was not listed. A partial record was taken during the Second Survey, as it was deemed not worthy of a full survey. The recent refurbishment has resulted in a complete change to the interior layout and detailing. It is no longer considered to be a particularly notable example of its type within the area. The building was formerly used as a shop.
