Description

This is a mid-19th century two-storey mid-terrace commercial building located on Ballynahinch Street in Hillsborough town centre. It was initially surveyed in the First Survey but was not listed. A partial survey was conducted during the Second Survey, as the building was deemed not to possess sufficient architectural or historical interest to warrant a full survey. The building has undergone various alterations and refurbishments over time, including the insertion of a modern shop front to the ground floor, which has resulted in a degradation of its original character. The building’s former and current use is as a shop within a terrace. It is not a listed building.
