Description

This is a mid-nineteenth century two-storey commercial building located on Ballynahinch Street in Hillsborough town centre. It features an integral carriage-arch. The building was surveyed during the First Survey but not listed, and a partial survey was taken during the Second Survey, as it was considered to lack sufficient architectural or historical interest for a full survey. It has recently been fully refurbished, and a modern shop-front has been inserted at ground floor level, resulting in the loss of much of the original character. The interior layout and detailing have also been completely altered. The building was formerly and currently operates as a shop. It is not listed.
