Former Lodge, 398 Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, Co Londonderry, BT47 4NQ

The former lodge, built between 1780 and 1799, stood on Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, County Londonderry. It was described in the first Building Survey as having harled, whitewashed walls and a hipped slated roof. Windows and the entrance were set within almost semi-circular arched recesses. The entrance featured a sheeted door with a two-centre arched fanlight above, featuring curved astragals, flanked by double-hung windows with full glazing bars and matching heads to the fanlight. The lodge was originally located parallel to and near the Ballyquin Road, with a presumed avenue or laneway connecting it to the wider estate of Pellipar House. The lodge has since been demolished and replaced by a modern house, which is currently the residence of Mr Brian McCloskey, likely constructed in the 1980s. The location is marked on the 1832 Ordnance Survey map of County Londonderry, sheet 25.
