Site, on the W side of the Magherascouse Road c.2 miles S of Comber, of a former single storey house, demolished in 1996 with new dwelling built in place. The 1st survey (25th Feb. 1974) described the former property as a ‘Single storey house with attic and lower extension on left hand and recent back set extension on right hand. Roof slated, gable ends. Chimneys rendered. Wall rendered and white washed. Main house S front has 2 drop hung windows, vertical astragals and central “Ards” doorway with plain stone semicircular archivolt and keystone, on stone pilasters, enclosing decorated fanlight and glazed flush panel door. Left hand extension has 2 windows one block , the other top hung. Condition fair. Front of main house about 35 feet. Adjoining adjacent outbuildings with date stone 1876’. The outbuildings are still present.
