The site represents the location of a former late Victorian farmhouse, which was destroyed by fire around 1990 and subsequently replaced by a new dwelling. The farmhouse was a two-storey building, depicted on Ordnance Survey maps of 1833/4 and 1858-60, though no building shown precisely matches the later farmhouse’s positioning. Based on a 1971 survey, the original house was likely constructed around 1880-1899. The house had a slated roof with plain bargeboards and yellow brick chimneys. Rendered and painted walls featured bevelled quoins. The first floor had two two-light and one single-light sash windows without astragals, each with an architrave, segmental arch head, and keystone. The ground floor mirrored the window arrangement and included a central doorway framed by fluted pilasters, a frieze lintol, and a segmental arch cornice. This doorway was accessed by a panelled door and a plain fanlight. The site is now in private ownership and is not a listed building.
