Description
Largely plain, two storey gabled farm house of c.1860s, modernise' in recent years with the introduction of PVC windows and a large conservatory-like PVC porch to front. The property is located roughly 2 miles north east of Greyabbey, just off the Ballywalter Road. Main house finished in lined render with chamfered quoins, plinth and eaves course to gables. Roof of main house pitched with Bangor blue slates, narrow rendered parapets and two rendered chimney stacks to gables. Mixture of cast iron and PVC rw goods. Front N elevation is roughly symmetrical and has an almost central hipped roof PVC conservatory/porch covering the original elliptical arched doorway. To left of conservatory is a window with PVC frame, with one to right and three, slightly smaller, to first floor. The E gable has square three pane PVC window to right on first floor. The W gable has PVC window to left on ground floor, similar to that on ground floor front. To the rear there is a full height return / extension with a low pitch gabled roof (probably felt covered) and PVC windows of various sizes. Extensions finished in pebbledash with recessed rendered base. Lean-to conservatory-like extension on E side of main extension, with PVC door, large corner window and felt roof. Various PVC windows, similar to front, at rear of main house. Mainly modern farm buildings to rear.
