The site formerly contained a two-story farmhouse dating to the mid to late 19th century. This original farmhouse was demolished around 1996 and replaced with a new, larger dwelling built in a style intended to reflect the original.

The original house, surveyed in 1971, comprised a two-story structure with an adjoining farmyard and outbuildings. It had a slate roof with cement bargeboards, rendered chimneys, and rendered walls featuring bevelled quoins. The first floor had three drop-hung sash windows with horizontal astragal glazing bars. The ground floor had two drop-hung windows with Georgian panes. A central doorway was distinguished by a recessed elliptical arch head, a bevelled surround, a decorative fanlight, and two-pane sidelights leading to a panelled door. A bevelled base course ran along the front. The original building was reported to be in fair condition and had a frontage of approximately 38 feet. The replacement dwelling incorporates elements of this design. Historic records from the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) document the property through valuations and Ordnance Survey maps dating from approximately 1834 to 1935.
