This is a medium-sized farmhouse, likely constructed between 1840 and 1859. It is a two-storey, four-bay structure facing south, with accompanying outbuildings now used as farm buildings. The roof is slated, with a hipped section on the left end and a gabled section with tile coping on the right. A single cement-rendered chimney is located on the party wall between the third and fourth bays. The exterior walls are random rubble granite, rendered and painted; rainwater goods are absent. The south elevation features a six-panel front door within a projecting, slated, and gabled porch. A ground floor window is present in the first bay, and a modern metal sliding door is in the second bay. Surviving windows are 3/3 margin-paned sliding sashes; ground floor windows remain only in the third and fourth bays, while four windows are present on the first floor. The fourth bay appears to be a possible later addition, as the space between the third and fourth bays is greater than the spacing between others. A two-storey slated barn, with external steps, is attached at a right angle to the left end of the main house. The farmhouse was not depicted on the 1834 Ordnance Survey map but is shown on the 1859 map. The building exhibits vernacular characteristics.
