Description

This is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century, constructed with roughcast over random rubble and featuring a thatched roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has a two-cell plan with a cross passage and stands one and a half storeys high. On the first floor, there is one early 19th century three-light leaded iron casement dormer. The ground floor has a similar window to the right of the entrance, along with late 19th century two- and three-light casements to the left of a plank door. The left side of the cottage has one small window, likely a stair light, positioned to the right in the gable end. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in November 1983.
