Description

The Churchyard Cross, located 14 metres southeast of the south porch of the Church of Saint Mary, is a structure of uncertain medieval date. It is made of Ham stone, with the base and the bottom of the shaft still intact. The base measures 800 mm square, of which approximately 550 mm is visible above ground, featuring chamfered stopped corners. The base of the cross shaft is about 325 mm square and 250 mm tall, and it is set in lead.
