Description
Beech Tree Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with modifications made in the early 20th century. It is constructed from roughly cut and squared Ham stone, featuring ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with stepped coped gables and brick chimney stacks at each end. The building has two storeys with attics and consists of three bays. The windows are plain beaded mullioned types set in shallow architraves, with 3-light windows in the outer bays and a 2-light window in the upper bay 2, all fitted with 20th-century steel casements. There is a gabled stone porch matching the farmhouse with a part-glazed outer door at lower bay 2. An extension is present at the rear north-east corner, along with an outshut to the remainder of the building. The interior has not been seen.
