Description

No. 8 High Street is a shop that was originally a house, likely built in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick with a Flemish bond and is colourwashed. It has a concrete double Roman tile roof with a plain west gable. The structure stands three storeys high and features two bays. The early 20th-century shopfront is designed in a late Art Nouveau style, showcasing a two-light shop window set on a glazed stall riser and an angled door to the right, all beneath a deep fascia. The first floor has plain sash windows, while the second floor features 9-pane sashes. The interior has not been seen.
