Description

No 9 High Street is a shop that was originally a house, mostly built in the 19th century. It features an ashlar stone plinth with pebbledash rendering above and has a Welsh slate roof with a plain gable. The building is two stories high and consists of a single bay. The late 20th-century shopfront includes a 40-pane shop window and a matching door to the left. Above the shopfront, there is a plain sash window, with a wrought iron bracket and a hanging sign to the right. The roof is integral with No 11 High Street and may have a 16th-century frame. The building is primarily noted for its group value with nearby structures.
