Description

This house, likely dating from the 18th century, is part of a row on the south side of High Street. It is constructed from local stone, rendered and with ashlar lining, and has been colourwashed. The roof is covered with double Roman clay tiles, with a stone slate base course, and has plain bargeboarded eaves on the east side. A brick chimney stack is located at the west end. The house is two storeys high and one bay wide. It has modern steel casement windows in plain surrounds, and a plain boarded door within a plain opening to the left. The interior has not been inspected. The property adjoins number 10, and is primarily included on the heritage list for group value.
