Description
Walter's Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed from local stone that has been cut and squared, with Bath stone dressings, and features a Welsh slate roof between stepped coped gables, with some plain clay tiles on the rear. The building has two storeys and an attic, comprising three bays. The first bay is a lower western extension with a half hipped roof. It has a rough stone plinth and ashlar quoins, along with plain chamfered mullioned windows that have labels above them, fitted with horizontal glazing bar casements. Between the second and third bays, there is a projecting gabled porch with a cambered arch entrance and a plain boarded door. To the west, there is a further single storey extension with a plain clay tiled roof. The east gable features small pane casements in plain surrounds, and there is a gabled outshut to the rear that appears to be contemporary with the main building. The interior has not been seen.
