Description

Two recumbent figures, dating from the 13th century, are located in the churchyard, 3 metres south of the nave of the Church of St John the Baptist. They are made of dressed stone. The figure of the merchant is depicted in a robe, with his feet resting on a wool sack and his head positioned under a crocketted niche, although his face is slightly damaged. Next to him is the figure of his lady, who has clasped hands, and her face is also slightly damaged.
