Description
This is a pair of gate piers and boundary walling dating from the 18th century, located at the driveway entrance to The Manor House. The gate piers are made of rusticated ashlar and feature domed caps with moulded edges. The boundary wall is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, standing 2 meters high, with a dressed stone coping on the left side. The wall slopes down to ground level on the left and continues as a further section, also 2 meters high, extending 4 meters to the right, with dressed coping. The 20th-century gate is not considered of special interest.
