Description
The roadbridge over the river dates from the 13th or 14th century, with significant alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a chamfered pointed arch on the east side, accompanied by a rubble relieving arch above it. The arch is underbuilt by a segmental archway, which includes rough-hewn voussoirs and a rough-hewn keystone. A similar segmental archway is present on the west side. The roadway is elevated and supported by rubble walling, with rubble parapets topped with rough-hewn and cement cappings.
